Parkinson SuperWalk is an opportunity for everyone in the family, including the dog, to celebrate, show support and raise funds to improve the quality of life for Canadians with Parkinson’s. As the single largest Parkinson’s fundraising event in Canada, it raised a record $2.8 million, in 2010.

Since 1990, Parkinson SuperWalk has raised $22.8 million to fund vital research, education, support and advocacy, on behalf of the over 100,000 Canadians with Parkinson’s disease and their 400,000 family, friends and caregivers.

Join the fun! We want to hear from you. Tell us why you are walking. You can share your comments below and/or join the conversation on Facebook and Twitterto connect with other walkers and post your photos from last year.

Congratulations to Laura Baker whose winning strategy paid off with a $500 Roots gift card. Laura began fundraising as soon as the SuperWalk website launched in April and has raised $841, so far. She will walk in Toronto, this September, with Team Nana Bert, in honour of her grandmother.Early bird prize winners
